Downtime Management
1. Downtime Management

Administrators and Production managers have two ways to manage downtime in FunnelCloud.
Primarily downtime can be managed on at the Production line level by accessing the Downtime Management Page
- From the production line Overview page, select the Downtime Management tab
Classified Events

Classified events will be moved to the Classified tab. These can be returned to in the future if they need to be reclassified or adjusted for any reason
Unclassified Downtime Events

From the Production line Downtime management page:
- Select the machine you want to manage downtime for
- Select the date and shift in which the downtime even you want to manage occurred
- Toggle between Unclassified and Classified downtime events
- Select the downtime event to classify to open the Down Activity Menu
2. Plan Actual Histogram

Downtime events can be classified directly form a machine's Plan Actual Histogram.
- Hashed red bars in the Down column of the report indicate periods of downtime that have not been classified.
- Click on the event you wan to classify to open the Down Activity menu and classify the activity
- Classified events will be displayed in a solid red color
Split or add comments to the down activity record. Click Save to store classified event record.

After picking a downtime from a histogram, or other downtime management window, the Down Activity menu will appear on the right side of the screen.
In instances where there are multiple reasons applicable to a single downtime event, FunnelCloud provides the ability to split the event and apply the reason to the portion of time they relate to during the downtime period.
To classify downtime:
- Click on the New Downtime Code button to open the Downtime Picker and select a downtime code for this event.
- Turn on the Split flag to expose the time splitting tools (3 and 4)
- Enter Split time (must be between the start and end time of the downtime event)
- Select the portion of the downtime event you want the reason code applied to. This can be either Before or After the split time you entered in the previous step
- If applicable or required a Comment can be added to the classification. Simply type in the comment and Click the Add Comment tab to store it to the record
Click Save to store the classified downtime event
