Scheduling Downtime

FunnelCloud can schedule lines or machines down for pre-determined reasons, like an ad-hoc meeting, an irregular maintenance event, a plant tour, or cleaning. Administrators can schedule downtime at the plant, line, or machine level.

Once you've scheduled the downtime and the clock strikes the start time, any downtime that occurs on your machine or line (depending on how you've scheduled it) will be classified according to the reason you pick. Additionally, if you've selected a code that is excluded from OEE, that time will be removed from OEE calculations for the shift.

Scheduling Downtime from At A Glance

You can schedule production lines to be down from the plant level. Scheduled downtime will be filtered according to the filter you've set up for this page.

Navigate to the At A Glance Page by clicking the FunnelCloud icon.
Click Schedule to open the Scheduled Downtime menu.
Click New Scheduled Downtime to create a new Scheduled Downtime, or click an existing Scheduled Downtime to administer an existing one.

Scheduled Downtime Form (Plant)

Fill out the Scheduled Downtime Form:

Pick the Production downtime for which you wish to schedule downtime.
Pick the downtime code you wish for this downtime to be categorized as using the Downtime Code Picker.
Pick the Start and End time for this scheduled downtime. You can click the right arrow to change months, click the day you wish to choose, and adjust the time by keying it in, or adjusting it up and down with the buttons.

When you've finished, click Save or delete as applicable.

Scheduling Downtime from the Line Overview

You can schedule production lines to be down from the line level:

Navigate to the Line Overview Page.

Click Schedule to open the Scheduled Downtime menu.
Click New Scheduled Downtime to create a new Scheduled Downtime, or click an existing Scheduled Downtime to administer an existing one.

Scheduled Downtime Form (Line)

This form will be mostly identical to the Plant Level Scheduled Downtime form, with a few exceptions:

You can pick the type of scheduled downtime. If you pick Production line, it will default to the line you're on. If you would like to scheduled downtime for a specific field, pick Machine, and it will expose the field in
Pick the machine you wish to schedule the downtime for.

Scheduling Downtime from the Machine Plan Actual

Navigate to the Machine Plan Actual Page.

Click Schedule to open the Scheduled Downtime menu.
Click New Scheduled Downtime to create a new Scheduled Downtime, or click an existing Scheduled Downtime to administer an existing one.

Scheduled Downtime at Machine

There are no new fields on this machine. The downtime will be scheduled against the machine you've selected.
