Any label printer that run on Production Mgr. are hung or stop printing, please see below for a quick fix.
- Troubleshoot first by checking the lights on the front of the printers. All lights should be green. If not, there could be a connectivity issue or it may be out of labels, depending on the warning light.
- Open CMS (Emulator) and sign in. From the main screen type the command “WRKWTR”

2. Page down to find the printer name (Writer name).

3. In the “Sts” column, look for the text “END"(use Opt 1).” If present, proceed to next step or if "Sts" is MSGW go to Step 5.
4. Type a “1” in the box next to the printer that is stalled. Hit Enter (use “enter” to proceed through all steps)
5. In the "Sts" column, look for the text "MSGW" (Use Opt 7).

6. The next screen Reply "G" -- Begin processing the current file after loading the form type.

7. You may check what’s available to print by selecting “8” – Display output for printer. You can do this before & after starting the print jobs.
8. It may also be necessary to “refresh/F5” the clear the print que from this menu. When finished, hit F12 twice to proceed to main menu (do not click exit or cancel).
Reprint CMS Labels
1. In the event that labels have been lost in the print que, but they do exist in CMS/Prod. Mgr., you can check them by entering “Go LBMN03” in the black task bar from main menu.
2. Check label status by selecting opt. 1 – Maintain & Print Labels. Select label number & select “Inquiry/F4”.

3. Check Date/Time, part number, quantity, status, format etc. to properly identify labels

4. Once label numbers or range is known, back out "F7" to LBMN03 menu. Select opt. 3 – Re-print Labels.
5. Before selecting the label to reprint, click "F6 - Outq” to direct labels to correct printer.

6. Type correct printer name in text box, select OK or enter to continue.
7. Click “F1 - Select” on label to be re-printed. Label should be at printer.
