How to Connect Through VPN While out of the office you may need to do work that requires you to be connected to the Companies network. You do that through a VPN, Virtual Private Network, here we will explain how to do that. Open your Start menu at the bottom left corner Locate Cisco and under that there should be a program called Cisco Any Connect Secure Mobility Client. Click on that. NOTE: You may also be able to open the program from the bottom right corner of your screen. Click on the expand arrow that brings up the rest of the icons in the bottom right corner. There you will see the Cisco icon, right clickon that and click connect. You may have to uncheck the box that blocks untrusted sites. Your settings will want to look like this. You can get here by clicking the gear icon. Once the program has opened, a little window should appear in the bottom right corner. Use the drop-down to select the connection name if one is not already entered. Then click connect. NOTE: You must be connected to the internet for this to work. Either WiFi or ethernet cord. Once connected a window will pop up asking for username and password. These will be your regular login credentials.
